To explore the potential for developing immune-enhancing food and beverage products, a study was conducted to understand consumers’ awareness of and needs for health and immunity.
Our Work
- An online diary was used to record eating habits and individual interviews were conducted with a total of 17 middle-aged and older adults to understand their opinions around health awareness and to evaluate product ideas.
The Outcome
- Although immunity is an important aspect of health, and consumers are aware of the need to maintain and strengthen it through their diets, it has never been a top priority for them. As a result, the end client recognized the need to actively create motivation around immunity to encourage consumer engagement.
- The client received actionable insights, understanding that making the product habit-forming is essential, and can be achieved by ensuring it comes in a familiar format or formula that seamlessly integrates into consumers’ diets.
